I can only see the once upon a story and then the 2:30, I think it’s covered up the rest.

      Hello,
Can you see the full timetable now? There is Maths (Times tables rockstars or Hit the Button) and then some reading after lunch.
I hope it’s clear enough and you are keeping safe.

Image – large football – by LK

Once upon time there lived a family which had to always stay home because everyday the weather was rainy. Then a miracle happened it was sunny! When they saw the sun blasting through the windows. They ran outside with happiness and played tag, stuck in the mud and basketball. They wondered off to see if anybody was playing a game they can join in but there was no one…

As they ventured through the forest they saw a football it was massive, it was taller than Jerry the giraffe and larger than the rest of the family. Rosie the pug tried to move the ball but she didn’t succeed then Fred the duck said “Quack Quack, its too heavy”
Then Jerry the giraffe, Rosie the dog, Fred the duck, Roger the bear, Ellie the elephant, Hope the bunny and Jimmy the cat all tried to push the ball with all their power and it moved!

Wow, what a fantastic story for that image. It has left me wanted to find out more! What do they do with this giant football?
I love that you used commas in a list and speech punctuation accurately. I wonder, if you continued the story, could you include any adverbs or noun phrases (e.g. Roger the curious bear, the colossal, round ball)
Well done, thank you for posting your comment!

    Oliver’s morning:

9-9.35 – Joe Wicks PE session.

9.40 – 10.40 – Literacy. Oliver chose a picture and wrote the story behind the image. He then answered 3 questions from below the image. (I would love to attach an image but not sure how to do it!)

11.00 – 11.45 – Hit the button (bonds to 100). TT rocks. Questions involving the four operations.

Followed by preparing his own lunch. Does this count as a food technology lesson? 🙂

Sounds like you have had a very busy morning Oliver. I am very impressed with you making your own lunch!
You could send your image to your teacher’s email address so they can see it that way or alternatively, you could send it to me and I will post it on the blog at the end of the day along with any other children’s work. mrs.hackney@wfps.org.uk or mr.bettles@wfps.org.uk

    Hello, it’s Rachel
I wanted to post a picture but I can’t. It was a picture of my writing. I did a morning job about Mary Poppins.Rachel

      Hello Rachel,
I would really like to see your picture. Perhaps you could send it to my teacher email address then at the end of the day, I will be able to share it along with any other children’s work that is sent in to me and comment on it then.

I can see some white clouds and the moon. I think the woman is Mary Poppins. Maybe the umbrella helps her to fly and the bag has the things she needs inside. If I could a question I would say “where are you going?” I think she is thinking “I wonder where I am going?” Perhaps she has food in her bag. I think maybe Mary has finished with one family and she is going to the next one. I think it would be cold because it is in space. It would be dark as it is in space.

    Hi All.

Thanks for the timings today. Any chance they can be posted the night before to help us get ready for the next day? (Get the right papers out of the pack etc and get our heads around it too).

    Thanks

      Hello,
Thanks for your message. I have had a chat with the team and this shouldn’t be a problem. We will do our best to get the schedules up the evening before for all year groups. If teams haven’t managed to get them on, they will be on by 8.30 the following morning. Thank you for your support.
