Well done Year 4, 5 and 6 for Monday’s learning :)
Thank you to everyone who has posted on the blog today; we have loved seeing all of the work that you have been doing at home. The answers to the literacy questions were exciting to read; it was great to see so many of you get the answers to the maths problems correct and we hope you enjoyed the wider curriculum learning – sorting natural items and creating detailed observational drawings of them.
The answers to the White Rose problems of the day, if you were unsure are:
10 less than 46 is 36
5 more than 30 is 35
Teddy has 10 sweets in total
Lucy shades in 3/4 of the rectangle which is equal to 6/8 of the rectangle. If 4 squares are already shaded, she would need to shade 2 more squares in.
It was great to see so many of you have a go at these – there will be more problems tomorrow. Maybe you could have a go at solving other people’s problems too.
Here are some of the key properties of the shapes we asked you to find around your home today. How many did you get right?
We hope you have all had a good first day learning at home. Enjoy the rest of your evening and remember to check the blog again tomorrow for some more exciting activities for you to try. If you get the chance to post a comment, we would love to see!
