Monday 23rd March Yr 1

Hello Chestnut and Cherry class!

Welcome to Year 1 Home Learning.

We are going post some activities at 9am each morning. One will be about Literacy, one will be a Maths activity and one more activity. We may add another task for you to do over a week or so too. We are here to help when you need us and looking forward to responding to your comments. We do not want to overload you if you are doing other interesting activities too but thought it would help to have this structure as a school.

Look out for Mrs Felsted’s phonic videos too!

For Monday 23.3.20

Please feel free to have a look at the learning pack sent home on Friday and become familiar with this. Some of these activities with be working on a little each day. You may think about planting your seed and starting your diary.

Activity 1– Write about your weekend . What did you do?

Activity 2– Can you practise counting in two’s starting with even numbers – 2,4,6…? Then can you count in odd numbers, 1,3,5…? You could write this down too to practise writing your numbers. If you would like more challenge, can you count back in two’s from 21 or 20 or from a larger number?

Activity 3– Can you help your family make a meal today or help get the table ready and help clear away?

Have fun!

Mrs Rands, Mrs Felsted and Mrs Worth.

      Hello,
      Good morning.
All our work is set on the school blog site.
If you are finding it difficult to access, an email from school should have been sent home to explain this.
I have checked and it is on the Year 1 blog.
The first activity is writing about your weekend.
      Best wishes,
      Mrs Rands

Thank you so much. Trying to balance homeworking and schooling, these daily topics will help us greatly.

That’s great. I know its tricky juggling everything but do as much as your daily life allow it to fit in. If you don’t have so much time one day, you can do more the next. Thanks for your kind words.
    Best wishes,
    The Year One Team
