Art Activities

Hi Weston Favell Primary School,

The Tate has got some wonderful activities to explore online. Although we can’t visit all the wonderful galleries and museums, many have brought their fantastic resources to us.

Using this link https://www.tate.org.uk/kids you will find: activities to try; games to play; quizzes to complete; artists to explore; and many more.

I hope you are enjoying the sunshine.

Miss Taylor

I am watching wonderful artists do there thing and at the same time I do art myself because, art is one of my favourite hobbies. My family picture me as an ‘little artist’ and they do the jazz hands at the same time.

Also I have been doing British sign language and testing my family if they remember any from the video we watched and I already know how to pronounce my birthday in sign language.

Tackled one of the projects with Eloise today and she created her own Andy Warhol piece of art, a tin of broccoli and lemon soup. She found out about the artist and I talked to her a bit about packaging colours and advertising. Think we will definitely revisit the site. Eloise seems to have a lot of enthusiasm for art and maths at the moment
