I think this is in a forest.
    Winter Day – 27th January
    Walking her dog
I don’t know but I think it was someone who loved trees
It could be a special memory
    Remembering someone special
    I think she feels woeful

Great ideas Lucas. I wonder why you think she is feeling ‘woeful’? That is a great word. I would agree that I think it is in the winter mainly because it looks like it is snowing and cold. I wonder who she is remembering.

I think this is in a magical forest where it always snows. I think the woman is touching a carved heart on the tree because she might have carved it when she was younger. This why it is called memories.

Great idea about it being a magical forest. That would be interesting. I’m not sure I would like it if it snowed all the time, would you? I wonder why she carved the heart when she was younger.

It is in England, morning time in Winter
The woman is touching the heart on the tree
I think the woman carved the heart because she keeps her memories there of happiness
Maybe she is remembering someone she loved who died
The woman is feeling sad and missing the person

What an interesting idea, it is memory of happiness but she is feeling sad about it when she remembers. I would agree that it is in winter time. Can you explain how you know?
