Children at home, could you suggest another line for the poem? Start with

Try and use personification or a simile and have fun!

It was so still that I heard a rare delicate flower stretch as it grew (Jaydnn)
It was so silent that I heard a bug tiptoeing gently on his morning stroll (Aiyana)
It was quiet that I heard a paper rustle 4000 miles away (Rian)
It was so peaceful that I heard the branches dancing in the breeze (Oliver)
It was so still that I heard the groans of children – unexpectedly at home (Esme)
It was so silent that I heard my neighbour’s house snoring quietly. (Hadley)
It was so quiet that I heard the earth talking to the moon whilst orbiting the mighty sun.
It was so peaceful that I could hear families talking to each other.
It was so silent I heard the rustling of a thousand leaves
