Tuesday 31st March- Reception

Good morning to you all.

Get going with Joe Wicks this morning. If you can’t do this at 9am, all of the workouts he has done so far are saved on his Youtube channel.

Literacy

As it is now Springtime, have a look at these lovely lambs.

Can you think of adjectives to describe them? (Remember when we described Gerald the giraffe with his long, bandy legs.)

Put your adjectives into sentences. Remember to start with a capital letter, end with a full stop and leave spaces between words. Segment the words into sounds to help you spell them.

Maths

Can you make a repeating pattern with objects from around your house?

  is an AB AB pattern.

  is an ABB ABB  pattern.

Can you make your pattern go around in a circle?

Can you make these patterns?

ABC ABC                      AAB AAB

Take a photo of your pattern and share them with us.

Other

Look at photos of something you did last summer, or sometime in the past.

What can you remember about it?

Who was there?

How did you get there?

What did you do?

What did you enjoy about it?

We look forward to hearing from you.

Elsbeth’s sentence is; The lambs have soft white fur and look a little bit cheeky.

Great adjectives you have used to describe the lambs.
Can you describe what you see out of your window to someone at home?

I like how you used your cutlery to make a repeating pattern. What can you use next?
