Good Morning everyone,

We hope you enjoyed yesterday’s activities and thank you to those of you who have added comments to share what you have been up to.

Here are some more activities to keep you busy this Tuesday. Remember you can complete them in any order and make sure you give yourself some time to play outside, read and rest too.

9am: Joe Wicks PE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ

Here are some other activities for you to have a go at.
As always, we would love to hear how you got on or see what you have created so please comment below or email us.

Hi Lucas. Well done. I like that you started and ended your poem with the same line. Did you have a favourite line from our poem today? Mrs Bacon 🙂

A viper can give up to 100 young vipers at a time!!
    Vipers eat rainforest rats
Vipers can reach up to 8,2 in length!
Vipers are the most venomous kind of snakes around!!

Great job, Lucas. Thank you for contributing to the blog so much – it’s great to read about what you have been up to.
I didn’t know that vipers eat rainforest rats. Does a viper have any predators?

    I chose the jaguar.
Jaguars are the ghosts of the rainforest.
They can swim just like Tigers, it’s their hobby.
They are the third biggest cat species after lions and tigers.
Male jaguars are 10 to 20% larger than females!!!!!!!!!
They stalk and ambush their prey by leaping into water or pouncing from a tree. WOW they must have good legs [buff] because they jump from trees and don’t break a bone or faint [DIE].
They have an OUTSTANDINGLY strong jaw it has more bite force than a LION.

Well done, Benjy. I love jaguars, such magnificent creatures. I didn’t know their jaws were stronger than those of a lion – how interesting. Do you know what their prey tends to be?

Good job, Haven – a lovely poem. I love the first line.
I wonder about changing the third line to ‘Hope will lighten the world’.
      Well done.

    1) hope.
    2) getting power.
    3) hope will give us power.

    Have hope in your heart.
Out of dark there will be light.
    Pour your feelings out.
Everything is going to be ok.

were reading a fiction book called Evie in the jungle. Evie has gone with her dad in a boat to the amazon rain forest. she rescued a sloth from a burning tree. Evie could also speak to animals and wants to go head to head with a jaguar so she could see what the jaguar was feeling. she also wanted to see pink river dolphins and lucky enough she did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she got the dolphin to save the pink river dolphin to save the sloth by making the dolphin go under the burning tree and telling the sloth to drop.the sloth’s name was Ah so every time they had to say ah they didn’t know which ah they meant and sloth’s are really sleepy so every time the sloth [Ah] woke up he said ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Joseph. This sounds like a fun book. What do you think will happen next? Maybe, when we are back at school, you can bring it in and we can read it to the class. I hope you are having a great day. Mrs Bacon 🙂

    English :-

    2) I think the poem is about Hope.
    3) The message is to have hope.
    4) Hope shines and darkness flees.

    Maths :-

    My estimation
    Kola Cup = Cup 1 = 300ml
    Tiny Cup 2 = 105ml
    Big Cup 3 = 450ml
    Bowl = Cup 4 = 600ml
The tiny cup holds the least liquid – 100ml
The big cup holds the most liquid – 450ml

    Smallest to Largest100ml
    212ml
    300ml
    450ml

    Militres and Litres :-

    100 ml = 0.1 litre
    212 ml = 0.212 litres
    300 ml = 0.3 litres
    450 ml = 0.45 litres

Bonus Question:- Miss Lowe has to pour 360ml more to reach 500 ml

    Widder Curiculum :-

    Fact File about Swallotail Butterfly

    1) In the amazon rainforest, they are found in trees and bushes in Ecuador.
    2) They eat leaves.
    3) They get their food from the trees.
    4) They are colourful
    5) It flys.
