Wednesday 1st April – Year 2/3

Good Morning everyone,

Well, it’s a new day and a new month. What will April bring? Do any of you have a birthday this month? April is also a special time in the church calendar as we celebrate Easter. You might want to make an Easter card for your family at some point this week.

We loved reading your responses to the poem yesterday and we hope that you had as much fun with the capacity investigation as the children at school did. It looks like lots of you found some very interesting facts about Rainforest animals too.

Here are today’s activities:

9am – Joe Wicks PE

Please comment below to share what you have done. Alternatively, you can email your teacher.

Fantastic James, you are good at telling the time, these are all the correct. I wonder if you have been able to create a timetable of your day with accurate timings?

Well done, Oliver! A great selection of words. I love that you’ve described school as ‘joyous’.
I also agree that ear wax is a disgusting noun!

      Hi Jake,
It’s great to see that you’ve given this a go.
Have another think about number 3 – a useful noun beginning with ‘d’ – yours is a verb.
The rest look good – well done!
      Miss Bailey 🙂

Great Tishe, you have listed lots of different word types but have you found the ones from the treasure hunt?
Also, these are lots of different times but look closely at the clocks and see if you can tell the time on those.
