I think the dinosaur thinks it’s a game by the grin on his face however the children probably just went on a walk or an adventure.I don’t think the children were running towards something I think they were running away from the dinosaur.my snappy headline is ‘a shocking surprise’.
    Science
I have created my own dinosaur called a herbasourus. It is tiny, green and a herbivore.
    Grammar
I have also done the grammar on a piece of paper.

Oh no! Not the eggs or flour- that sounds like our world now… without the Dinosaurs! What’s his name? Can you try to join some of your sentences to vary the sentence lengths of your writing.

THE DINOSAUR WAS NICE BUT TURNED MEAN

The dinosaur is chasing the children off his land and back to school to learn. Right after school the children spent lots of time with the dinosaur until the dinosaur felt uncomfortable and ran away. Later that day when they came to play he wasn’t there, so they started to cry. The next day the dinosaur had a massive break down in the mall and was attacking a 100 year old granny. This all happened yesterday to be clear.

How did you find creating the venn diagrams? I think that they are trickier to do than they sound but you have done a great job- well done.
The magdalon sounds very sweet- I love the idea of storing water in bumps on its back, I bet this would be really helpful for it to survive.

DINOSAUR BREAKOUT IN NORTHAMPTON FROM JURASSIC WORLD
Breaking news has said that yesterday afternoon at 3.14pm young children and adults in Northampton were horror-struck to see a seventeen foot tall khaki dinosaur with a huge thumping tail. We haven’t found out what species it is yet but we do know that it was in Abington Park. Children and adults were shrieking and yelling for help as they were trying to escape the terrorizing scene. As they got away people thought that they saw a grin on it’s face. Others said it was just because they wanted to believe it was nice. As the dinosaur had finished thumping across the park it went onto the road and was last seen chasing three children. We will update you when we have more information.

    Newspaper report
    THE MISCHEIVIOUS DINOSAUR!
Today in the zoo there was an escaped dinosaur lurking around the trees. His razer sharp claws were hanging out so please keep all children with you and stay indoors!

Zoo keepers are trying to track him down. Some people might wonder how he got out. He managed to escape by covering himself in some discarded alcohol hand gel and then wriggled through a little gap in the fence.

Last seen, in Abington Park playground jumping up and down and playing on the swings on his fat bottom.

Be aware that he is still hanging around. If you see him you may be in danger. If spotted? Please call the police immediately on 999.

Fab effort remembering those grammatical pieces of punctuation – I would say both a pair of , and () could add extra information.
Great use of , in a list – remember the plural of strawberry and raspberry are strawberries and raspberries but other than your sentences are great and lovely to hear you talk of your mum working for the NHS. She is one of our heroes!
