Year 2 – Week Beginning – 4th May
Hello everyone, we hope you enjoyed last week’s learning activities. Please also remember to spend time being creative, enjoy the outside and most importantly, have fun!
Here are the activities which we have chosen for you this week– please click on the link to access the learning:
Maths – try to complete one each day, if not possible, aim for at least 3 each week
Maths 1 (Recognising a third) – Recognising a third

Maths 3 (Unit fractions) – Unit Fractions
Maths 4 (Non-unit fractions) – Non-Unit Fractions
Maths 5 (Equivalence of ½ and ¼) – Equivalence of half and quarter
As an extra, if you want to, here is a short daily arithmetic activity to keep you practising calculations. Fluent in Five – Year 2 – Week 1
Literacy – each link focuses on a particular area of Literacy and there are 2-4 activities to be completed, feel free to pick and choose which ones you would like to complete (try to aim for at least 3 each week)

Additional activities: Remember you can always access Mathsbot, TT Rocks or pick up a book and read for a little while. Mrs Felstead has also been uploading daily Phonics lessons on another blog post – it would be great if you could have a go!
