Using either painting, collage, or printmaking create a work of art about where you live. You can create an artwork about your house and family, the people in your neighbourhood or an area or place in the city or town where you live . Use your knowledge from the places we learnt about such as The National Lift Tower and The Guildhall. Let your imagination run wild!
We would love to be emailed a photograph of your masterpiece!
Hi. The SPAG link takes me to the home page and asks for a log in, which we do not have. Any ideas?
Good morning,
If you email me on miss.lowe@wfps.org.uk , then I can send you Drake’s email and password.
Thanks,
Miss Lowe

For science ,i have learnt that Igneous rocks, are formed when Magma or Lava cools and solidifies.
Metamorphic rocks, are formed when heat and pressure inside the Earth that change igneous and sedimentary rocks.

Fantastic Jaydnn, well done! I have found your facts about rocks very interesting!
Well done for doing some English and maths too – well done for your SPAG score.

Brilliant Science, Jaydnn. With igneous rocks, did you read that the magma can cool on the surface of the earth OR while the melted rock is still inside the earth’s crust? Mrs Bacon 🙂
Yes I learnt that magma can cool on the surface of the Earth.

Hi. Do you have a link for today’s English lesson as the link is the same as yesterday’s.
I am sorry about that! I have put the correct link on the blog. https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/story-write-an-alternative-ending-to-a-story/
Miss Taylor
The facts that i have learnt for history is
The first job that Henry the 2nd, gave to Thomas Beckett was the role of a chancellor.
Henry the 2nd, was rumored to have said, ‘ will no one rid me of this turbulent priest’?.
The name of the special courts of clergy was the ecclesiastical court.
That’s great Jaydnn – how interesting! Did you enjoy finding out that information?
Miss Lowe 🙂
Hello Ms Taylor & classmates,
I am working one week behind what’s on the blog – so I have just completed this week above’s work on Friday 19th June.
I enjoyed the Maths and am particularly enjoying the Spanish lessons and remembering our Spanish Cafe times.
The English lessons this week were cool. I like writing stories, so it was fun exercising these alternative endings. Weird. But cool.
I have my picture that I’ve painted for the art lesson – I will get my mom to send by email to you.
Hi Madison,
Thank you for getting in touch and letting us know. It’s great to hear you have enjoyed the lessons and are reminiscing over Spanish cafe. Have you been practising lots of spanish?
I’m pleased you enjoy writing stories – I’m sure Miss Taylor would love to see if you are able to email that to her too.
Have a good day.
Miss Lowe 🙂
