Good morning Reception!
Welcome to another week of home learning. We hope you enjoyed being engineers last week and that you had some time enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.
Here is a video explaining what you will be learning this week.
In school we have been starting the day with a quick, 5 minute workout with Joe Wicks to wake us up and get us ready for learning. Try a new one each day and see how you feel afterwards. Remember to drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated.
Maths and Literacy
Remember we are working on Week 9.
Last week we read Billy’s Bucket in school. We thought about what we might see in our buckets and then drew and wrote sentences to describe what might be in there. Can you do this and then go outside and find a bucket? Can you experiment with making a mixture in your bucket? When you stir your mixture, use an anti-clockwise movement as if you are writing the letters c, o, a, d, g and q.
Summer Reading Challenge
At Weston Favell Primary School we always encourage our children to take part in the summer reading challenge and this year it is especially important to keep reading throughout the summer holidays. We have even previously won the challenge, beating all the other schools! Go on, sign up!
Have a lovely week and try your best!
