Year 6 home learning week beginning 29/6/20
Hello Year 6!
*UPDATE ALERT – please learn the song below ‘Hall of Fame’ and if you’re learning from home, with parent’s permission, send in a video of yourself singing with no backing please for the year 6 leaver’s video. You can also send a short video of you completing a talent to go in the video e.g football skills/ a short dance etc.*
Another week where some of us are in school and some of us are still working from home. Wherever you are, we hope you are enjoying your learning and we would love to hear from you so remember you can either post on the blog or email us.
Our emails are: miss.lowe@wfps.org.uk miss.spaven@wfps.org.uk
If you are at home for the whole week, you can still choose when you want to do the wider curriculum tasks. We would love to see and hear what you get up to!
The children that are coming into school this week for both Beech and Larch class will be completing Lessons 1, 2 and 3 in school for Maths and English.
Therefore, Beech class will complete Lessons 1,2 and 3 on explanations in school and when Beech class are at home, they will need to complete the writing on Thursday and Friday – you can then email your work to Miss Spaven so she can see your wonderful writing. Larch class, we recommend that you spend Monday and Tuesday at home this week writing your story from last week – you can then email this to Miss Lowe so she can see your wonderful writing. Larch class will then complete Lessons 1, 2 and 3 on explanations in school on Thursday and Friday.
If you have any questions, please email us and we can help you further!
There is also a community writing challenge– so have a look at this and send any responses to Miss Spaven!
We will continue to read the second Famous Five book this week too, so keep an eye on the blog for the next chapters of this book. We hope you are enjoying it as much as the first one. Please let us know!
As always, stay safe and we look forward to seeing and hearing from you all very soon!
