Reception- 13th July 2020
Welcome to your final week in Reception! We have loved getting to know you and being a part of your learning this year, even if it has been a bit strange for us all.
So here it is… your final blog post. We would love to hear from you via our emails firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com Keep an eye on the ‘Whole School’ and ‘Science’ blog for activities and learning that you could do over the summer! Don’t forget to continue with your reading, tricky words (reading and spelling), number bonds to ten and double numbers.
We also hope to see those of you who have not been back in school on our final teams calls of the year.
Enjoy your summer and we look forward to seeing you across the corridor in September. Your Year 1 teachers are very lucky to have you!

Memories of Reception
We would love to hear what you will always remember about Reception. You could write it down, or do a video message and share it with us.
It’s easy to get some Maths into baking and you get something yummy to eat! Have a go at Joe Wicks’ blueberry and banana muffins below.

Good morning, Andi. I am very impressed that you have made muffins. We look forward to seeing the photo. You are making me feel hungry! 🙂 I love muffins! Enjoy the rest of your afternoon. It sounds like you have been very busy. Mrs Bacon 🙂
Joshua has loved playing on the bikes while in Reception and has also loved the teachers when they do doubling. Joshua will always remember the fun he had in receptions, he said he doesn’t need to remember his friends because they are moving in to year one with him 🙂
Hi Joshua. We are so glad you have enjoyed your time in Reception. It’ll be lovely to see all your friends again in your new Year 1 class in September. Have a super summer break. Mrs Bacon 🙂
